How the estimate is calculated
Real geometry, not a rate
We build the timber frame, cladding layout and roof for your exact dimensions, then price each part — so the total reflects real quantities, not a flat price per square metre.
A full bill of materials
Every estimate breaks down into cladding, framing timber, roofing, fixings, foundation and finishing — the same categories you'd take to a merchant.
Honest, adjustable numbers
Figures are material estimates that vary with your choices and finish. Change any option in the 3D planner and the cost, cut list and weight update instantly.

Frequently asked questions
What is a shed cut list?
A cut list is the schedule of every timber piece your shed needs — studs, plates, headers, noggins, braces and joists — with lengths and quantities, arranged across standard stock lengths so you buy the right amount and waste the least. This page shows the total timber; the planner produces the full optimised list.
How does the cut list reduce waste?
The planner packs your required pieces onto standard stock lengths (2.4 m, 3 m, 4.8 m) to minimise offcuts, then tells you how many lengths to buy. Better packing means fewer lengths and less waste — real savings on a timber-framed build.
Can I download the cut list?
Yes — the optimised cut list is part of the downloadable plan bundle from the 3D planner, alongside the bill of materials and step-by-step assembly guide.
